New Kia Cee’d Car revealed at Geneva The second-generation Kia Cee’d makes its global premiere at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The new model promises to be more sophisticated, more efficient and more engaging to drive. On the outside, the new Kia is longer and lower than before and will also be available with 17 and 18-inch alloy wheels – giving a more sporty apearance. Kia's latest Ford Focus rival will be built in Kia's Zilina facility in Slovakia in a range of 10 body colours - five of which are brand new. Kia will offer a range of two petrol engines, including a 100bhp 1.4 and a 135bhp 1.6, plus two diesels – a 90bhp 1.4 and a 1.6 in two states of tune, producing110bhp and 128bhp respectively. Kia believes the top of the range 128bhp diesel will prove to be the most popular with buyers, as it produces emissions of less than 100g/km, is capable of 76.3mpg and can go from 0-62mph in under 11 seconds.
