Suspect in Tennessee kidnap case charged with murder

Authorities in Tennessee on Wednesdaycharged the man being hunted in the kidnapping of a Tennessee family with first degree murder in the deaths of the mother and her oldest girl, according to court records.Adam Mayes was charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Jo Ann Bain, 31, and her oldestdaughter, Adrienne, 14, according to Hardeman County courecords. Bain's two younger daughters are still missing.Mayes' wife Teresa Mayes, who has admitted to police shedrove the four victims from Tennessee to the site in Mississippi where the bodies of the mother and daughter were laterdiscovered, was also charged with first-degree murder in their deaths.The Federal Bureau of Investigation, meanwhile, said it hasadded Adam Mayes to its "Ten Most Wanted Fugitive List." Mayesremains at large and is believed to still be holding the two younger Bain girls, Alexandria, 12, and Kyliyah, 8.

People Magazine reports that Thomas Beatie, better known as the first pregnant man, separated from his wife of nine years, Nancy. The female-to-male transgender made the announcement on CBS’ show, “The Doctors”. Thomas Beatie and his wife, Nancy, seemed to be the perfect homosexual couple. Beatie was born as a woman, but went through a sex-reassignment surgery in 2002. Marine wife's death shock neighbors in California

Authorities have determined that a body found near a Southern California lake is that of Brittany Dawn Killgore , a Marine's wife whose disappearance has led to the arrest of another woman on suspicion of murder .Neighbors were stunned Wednesday when coroner investigators announced that it was the body of the 22-year-old Killgore that had been found in the brushy area."It's very bizarre. I wish I knew the end to the story. Where are the leads?" said Navy Petty Officer Ashley McMurray , who has lived at the complex of yellow stucco homes on Ammunition Road for 11 months.   A uthorities have said little about their investigation. Old woman 80 Lands plane for dying husband

An experienced pilot and the 80-year-old woman he helped land a plane without a pilot's license were hailed as heroes Tuesday by Door County Sheriff Terry Vogel.Rob Vuksanovic, 53, of Sturgeon Bay joined Helen Collins in the sky and helped guide her to the ground after her husband suffered an apparent heart attack while piloting the plane Monday afternoon.  John Collins, 81, was pronounced dead at Ministry Door County Medical Center shortly after the plane landed at Cherryland Airport. He was the president and founder of C&S Manufacturing, which builds parts for the HVAC and plumbing industries at the Sturgeon Bay Industrial Park. At a news conference Tuesday, Vogel recounted how Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay notified Door County dispatch of a distress call received at 5:05 p.m., when Helen Collins reported the medical emergency.
