Hilary Duff welcomes a Baby boy !

The singer-and-actress and her husband Mike Comrie welcomed son Luca Cruz Comrie into the world on Tuesday (20.03.12) and the couple are thrilled with the new addition to their family.Writing on her twitter page, Hilary - who married former ice hockey player Mike in 2010 - said: "Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy."We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world."Hilary, 24, was thrilled when she found out she was pregnant and admitted she couldn't wait to meet her son.

She said: "People keep saying to me, 'Sleep right now. Get your sleep!' I keep saying, 'I just want the baby here! I want to play and I'm ready to see what he looks like."Before the birth, Hilary was thrown a baby shower by her close friends and family and admitted she had an "amazing" time.She tweeted afterwards: "What an amazing day my mommy and @HaylieK threw it down!best baby shower!This baby is spoiled already! And this mama is wiped out!!"So grateful for all my friends and family that love and support me through all these huge milestones in my life! Such special memories today! (sic)"

The shower - which was hosted by Hilary's mother Susan and sister Haylie - took place at the former 'Lizzy McGuire' star's Los Angeles home and was "small and intimate", with around 40-50 guests.

Dave Haywood and Lady Antebellum gets Married

All three members of country supergroup Lady Antebellum are officially off the market, as Dave Haywood married Kelli Cashiola on a private farm just outside Nashville on Saturday. The bride, 30, wore a white lace dress and a white flower in her hair, while singer/songwriter Dave Barnes provided the music for the happy occasion, according to People. Several wedding guests took to Twitter to offer congratulations to the newlyweds. "The Dave Haywood/Kelli Cashiola wedding was awesome. Like a movie," fellow Nashville country trio Mockingbird Sun Tweeted on Sunday. "Wish them the very best!" Attendee Kyle Key Tweeted, "Back from secret wedding location. What a wedding! New Nike NFL Alternative Uniforms

The Carolina Panthers' new Nike uniforms were unveiled on Tuesday, along with a hidden message. The Panthers will have the words "Keep Pounding" stitched on the collars of their jerseys in honor of late linebacker and assistant coach Sam Mills.It is this kind of gesture that should be on every NFL uniform, remembering those who meant so much to the league. Mills was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in August 2003. Despite undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment, he remained on the field for the Panthers during the 2003-2004 season, and his inspirational plea to "keep pounding" led the team to a victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the divisional round. Mills said before the game,  "When I found out I had cancer, there were two things I could do—quit or keep pounding. I'm a fighter. I kept pounding. You're fighters, too. Keep pounding!"
