Whitney Houston Mother breaks her silence

Cissy Houston, the grieving mother of Whitney Houston, has finally broken her silence on her loss during an interview that will air this Monday night on My9's 10 O'Clock News.

It hasn't even been two months since her daughter was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room, so understandably, Cissy is nowhere near over it and shared:

"I have my moments. I'm not there yet. I don't think I'm any more courageous than anyone else. I am a true believer in God, if I could bring her back I would, but that's not possible.

Unfortunately, Whitney's dangerous drug addiction has proved to play a part in her death, but the 78-year-old doesn't (as she shouldn't) blame herself for her daughter's demons, continuing:

"I know I did the best I could. I don’t blame myself. I know I did the best I could for everything."

Regardless of the choices her only daughter made throughout her 48 years on this earth, Cissy is damn proud of her accomplishments and explained:

"I'm very proud of my daughter. She accomplished a whole lot in the short time that she had here she was a very wonderful person."
