Reminiscent of her seductive-yet-psycho character in "To Die For" (1995), Nicole Kidman is taking on another twisted-sex-pot role. And yes, in this one she also dons bleach blonde hair.
Kidman, 44, has love scenes with Zac Efron, 24, in "The Paperboy," a sexual thriller due for release later this year. And while Efron described the scenes as "the highlight of my life," he is not the only one Kidman's character gets intimate with: She plays a woman who writes letters to death row inmates. Kidman's character Charlotte Bless also begins communicating with a murder suspect, played by John Cuscack.
We'll just have to add Kidman's sexy scenes to a growing list
she is knocking out lately—including her steamy on-screen play opposite
Clive Owen in the HBO film "Hemingway & Gellhorn."
Kidman recently told W Magazine how she feels about getting nude on set:
"I don't mind being naked. Maybe as I
get older, and now having had a baby, it might be different, but I
enjoy not letting my issues get in the way of a performance. Once I
start putting all my little insecurities in my mind, I'm not actually
acting. Then it's about me — and it should never be about me. It should
be about the character."
